Canadian Football League franchise partners with online sports bookie
The Calgary Stampeders Football Club and Bowmans, the leader in online gaming, have entered into a marketing partnership for the 2005 and 2006 Canadian Football League regular season.
This new partnership follows the announcement of Bowmans marketing arrangement with the Canadian Football League during the 2004 CFL playoffs. The Stampeders and Bowmans partnership will include on-field turf logo and jumbotron announcements at Stamps' home games, website linkages and an exclusive online interactive free-to-enter Bowman contest for Stamps' games. Further details will be announced prior to the regular season on Bowmans website at www.bowmans.com.
"Bowmans has been a worldwide leader in online gaming for twenty years and that is the calibre of partner the Calgary Stampeders are looking for," said Lee Genier, Director of Sales, Calgary Stampeders. "We see great value in such co-marketing initiatives in reaching our complimentary target markets."
"This agreement with the Stampeders further extends our reach across Canada," said Chris Milward, CEO of Bowmans. "We are pleased to now be partnering with multiple CFL clubs and further demonstrating Bowmans' commitment to the Canadian Football League, which has been at the forefront of Canadian sports dating back to the first Grey Cup Championship trophy presentation in 1909."
Bowmans is the established leader in online gaming and recognized as a pioneer in the offshore wagering industry since 1985. Bowmans is a proponent of and adheres to responsible gaming practices.
